COUNTRY Index: Americans' Financial Security Sentiments Rebound

Bloomington, Ill., June 17, 2008 — In a counterpoint to the current economic environment, the COUNTRY Financial Security Index ^SM jumped 1.5 points to 69.3 in June. Americans say they are feeling better about their ability to save and pay debts. After steadily declining for the past six months, the June Index came in at its highest reading since October 2007.
